Hello everyone!
This is the fifth article in our series on Dynamics 365 Sales!
In the previous article, we talked about what Dynamics 365 Sales is,
We explained how to use it in actual sales work, including how to operate the screen.
If you've read this article so far, you're probably starting to think about using Dynamics 365 Sales (lol).
Starting from this time, we will explain about the license, which is unavoidable if you want to start using it!
License type
To use Dynamics 365 products, you must purchase a license.
There are four types of licenses for Dynamics 365 Sales:
From here you will need to choose which license you would like to purchase. (As of September 2021)
①Sales Professional (7,070)
②Sales Enterprise (10,330)
③Sales Premium (14,680)
④Microsoft Relationship Sales (17,576)
*Prices in parentheses are per user per month.
Here's a brief overview of each license:
Sales Professional has limited functionality and a limit on the number of custom entities that can be used, but it is the cheapest license available.
Sales Enterprise includes all the features, so it is more expensive than Sales Professional.
Sales Premium and Microsoft Relationship Sales are
This will allow you to use Sales Enterprise +α functions.
(Note: Sales Premium and Microsoft Relationship Sales will be explained in detail in future articles.)
Difference between Sales Professional and Sales Enterprise
Sales Premium and Microsoft Relationship Sales include Sales Enterprise, so when deciding on a license,
First, you'll need to decide whether to go with Sales Professional or Sales Enterprise.
Here's a quick summary of the differences between the two licenses:
Sales Professional
Price (per user per month): 1
Custom entity limit: up to 15
Available features: Business card scanning and mobile offline functionality are not available.
Sales Enterprise
Price (per user per month): 1
Custom entity limits: No limit
Available functions: All functions are available
Basically, the biggest difference is the range of functions that can be used and the limit on the number of custom entities.
Can Sales Professional cover the scope of your business that needs to be systemized?
This is the basis for determining licensing.
