Knowledge Creation Laboratory by CRM(xRM)

Dynamics CRM can also be used for the following: Fisheries Part 1

Following on from my last article on agricultural products, this time I would like to write about fisheries.
This is also a major industry in my hometown. Agriculture and fishing are both thriving here, and it's a wonderful place with both the sea and the mountains. It's a wonderful place where you can clearly feel the changes of the four seasons.(I don't want to see snow anymore though lol)

Various initiatives in the fishing industry

Last time, we introduced solutions unique to Dynamics CRM to various problems in the agricultural industry, but this time we would like to introduce the benefits of introducing Dynamics CRM to various systems and initiatives related to the fishing industry.
First, I would like to pick out some of the various systems and initiatives in the fishing industry around the world.
1. Initiatives to protect fishery resources
2. Ship/fishing gear management
3. Electronic auction trading
4. Aquaculture management

There are many other systems and initiatives, but I took a quick look and picked out some that caught my eye.
Now I would like to take a closer look at what is being done for each of these initiatives.

What exactly does this mean?

1. Initiatives to protect fishery resources

Various initiatives are being undertaken by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, associations, and fishermen, including resource conservation, coastal cleanup, and reforestation.
To protect resources, we set catch limits to prevent overfishing and release young fish to increase future catches. We also maintain a clean, nutrient-rich ocean by cleaning coastlines and planting trees.

2. Ship/fishing gear management

The fishing industry uses a variety of ships, fishing boats, nets, radars, etc. Regular maintenance and repairs are required to prevent equipment from suddenly becoming unusable due to replacement of consumables or mechanical breakdowns.
It is also important to manage the places where boats can be moored and the owners.

3. Electronic auction trading

After the catch is unloaded, the auction takes place at the market. In recent years, the auction process has become increasingly electronic, with middlemen conducting transactions using terminals or tablets provided.

4. Aquaculture management

By managing the environment in which fish are raised from fry stage and the fry themselves, it is possible to achieve greater efficiency and higher productivity. In addition, by digitizing individual fish data, various added values can be added.

These efforts are gradually becoming more IT-based, and in some cases, rather than just using Dynamics CRM, we are finally managing things using computers. Further advances in IT will make things even more convenient in the future.
At that time, introducing Dynamics CRM as part of IT implementation will bring benefits to both users and administrators.I'm sure you'll come up with a great solution!

More on the fishing industry and XRM next time!

This time we looked into what initiatives are currently being undertaken, but next time we will consider how to use Dynamics CRM to realize XRM in each initiative.

During my ten-plus years of apprenticeship at a local company, I gained a wide range of experience in programming, networks, infrastructure, servers, maintenance, operations, sales, proposals, etc., and gained a broad, if not very deep, understanding of IT and work experience. Currently, I work hard every day to satisfy customers using a variety of services, primarily Dynamics CRM.
Recently, I've been struggling with the eternal question of which came first, the chicken or the egg.
I'm also slowly getting into mobile game development!
