Report on the 8/19 Power Apps Basics (additional session)
It's hot every day, how are you all doing?
I'm Murakami, and I feel like I can understand how a dried-up earthworm feels these days.
As usual, this is going to be a regular study group report... but this time, the lecturer will be writing the main text as a reflection (^^)
So please read it↓↓↓
Hello everyone!
On Wednesday, August 8th, we held a Power Apps study session that was open only to online participants.
This time, the report will be written by Okite, who served as the lecturer at the study group.
About this study session
In fact, after the Power Apps study session was held at the end of last month, we received several requests to hold the session on a different date.
Therefore, we have decided to hold an additional event with the same content on this date.
We are very pleased that so many people participated this time as well!
The theme was the same, "Developing a daily report app using Canvas Apps," but I made some slight changes to the explanation, such as adding the content raised in the questions from the previous lecture to the main lecture and updating the text to reflect the latest information from Microsoft.
Since the event went more smoothly than last time, we had a little more time to spare, which gave participants ample time to freely explore the Power Apps screen.
Future challenges and things I want to try
This was my first time holding an online-only event, so I found it difficult to get a sense of what the participants were like.
Also, perhaps because it was the second time for the instructor, he was more "used" to the lesson, and we received feedback that "the speed of the explanation was fast."
As a future challenge, we will strive to adjust the speed and improve the explanations to make them easier to understand.
Thank you to everyone who provided valuable feedback!
I would also like to try being an instructor for the training courses offered by our company in the future.
Based on my experience at the study group, I would like to strive to improve my skills as a lecturer so that I can teach everyone in a more understandable and enjoyable way.
Our training courses are introduced on our website, so please check it out if you are interested.

Finally
Thank you very much to everyone who participated and completed the survey.
We look forward to your participation in future study sessions!
Okite-san, thank you for taking the time to write this in between your work schedule~m(__)m
Thanks to her and the other new instructors and technical support staff, I feel that the quality of the study sessions is steadily improving.
At the same time, we have received positive feedback from participants, which we are truly grateful for.
We plan to continue holding the basic course while making updates, and we are also considering holding a course for complete beginners to Dynamics 365 before the end of the year if possible.
