EMOROCO CRM Lite

Let's take a look at the price and features of EMOROCO CRM Lite and see how much of a bargain it actually is.

Hello, this is Matsubara, CRM Evangelist.

We've received this question many times: "Isn't the ¥1,500 monthly fee cheap because it means some features have been cut?"
This time, we'll take stock of what's actually included in the 1,500 yen monthly fee and try to organize the reasonableness of the price from a functional standpoint using as many specific figures as possible.

Please note that the "general price range" listed below is based on the market price of tools in each category and does not refer to any specific product.
Please consider this merely an estimate to give you a sense of the scale.

What is included in the monthly fee of 1,500 yen

First, let's summarize the main features included in the basic fee for EMOROCO CRM Lite (1,500 yen/user/month).

  • Basic CRM functions (account management, activity management, project management, contract management, sales management)
  • Building entities, fields, forms, views, and graphs without coding.
  • Dashboard, KPI visualization, and graphing functions
  • Nurturing scoring and relationship evaluation based on emotional temperature
  • Workflow automation (notifications, approval requests, and external integration execution)
  • LINE Notifications
  • GIS Map and Route Sales Support
  • Calendar integration with Microsoft 365
  • Business Process Flow (Progress Management of Cases and Applications)
  • Excel Import/Export
  • Permission management by security role and form
  • External connectors (API/Webhook integration)
  • Web resource functionality (lightweight UI extension using HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Chat and email support

The customer portal/agency portal functionality is a separate option with a monthly fee of 20,000 yen for up to 100 users.
Everything else is included in this basic fee.

Traditionally, these were typically contracted through separate tools.

In the CRM 4.0 and earlier eras, these functions were typically contracted with separate vendors as individual subsystems.
The general price range for each category is roughly as follows:

Feature Category Typical price range (monthly)
SFA (Sales Force Automation) function Several thousand yen to over 1 yen per user
MA (Marketing Automation Scoring) function Tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand yen per organization
BI Dashboard and Visualization Tools Several thousand yen to tens of thousands of yen per user
Workflow automation tools Several thousand yen per user, or pay-as-you-go.
Customer portal form publishing tool Several thousand yen to tens of thousands of yen per organization
Chatbot and notification integration tool From several thousand yen/organization

A typical configuration for achieving CRM-equivalent functionality by stacking subsystems involves contracting for each service individually and then manually connecting the data from each service using separate integration tools.

Let's try calculating it with a team of 3 users.

Let's compare it specifically using a small team of three users.

For EMOROCO CRM Lite, the cost is 1,500 yen x 3 users = 4,500 yen per month (no initial setup fee).

When combining individual tools (approximate)
If you were to contract for tools equivalent to SFA, MA, BI, and workflow in their minimum configurations, it would typically cost tens of thousands of yen per month for the entire organization.
In addition, there are initial costs involved in setting up data integration between each tool, as well as the effort required to manage multiple management screens.

Of course, the price will vary greatly depending on the range of features needed and the tools chosen, so this is not an accurate comparison.
However, I think you can intuitively understand how reasonable the monthly fee of 4,500 yen is compared to adding features individually.

Why is this price possible?

As we've seen, the price isn't lowered by cutting corners on features.
So why is this a viable business at this price? There are two reasons.

① Business design based on the premise of contracts with a minimum of 3 users.
While the price per user may seem low at first glance, we have designed our system with a minimum contract of 3 users, allowing us to set a profit margin of 4,500 yen per tenant per month.

② Optimizing development and operational costs using AI
Labor costs make up the majority of the cost structure in the IT industry.
The ability to reduce labor costs through AI-driven development methods is the technical reason why we can achieve low prices without sacrificing functionality.
Conversely, if a company were to implement an AI-based development system in this day and age while setting a monthly fee significantly higher than 2,000 yen, it could be argued that they are making excessive profits.

It's not a case of "cheap and nasty," but rather "a fair price made possible by current technology."

The answer to the initial question, "Is the low price because they've cut back on features?" is, "It's not that they've cut back; rather, it's because we've adopted an AI-based development system that allows us to offer this many features at this price."
I believe that low prices are not a reflection of low quality, but rather a result of the technology of the times.
