Get paid for exercising? Healthy management initiatives

As part of our health management efforts, we encourage all employees to exercise for at least 10 minutes every day. To motivate our employees, we offer monthly bonuses to employees who achieve 10 minutes or 3000 minutes of exercise each day. Specifically, we offer a program where employees who exercise for at least 6000 minutes or XNUMX minutes each day will receive XNUMX yen on the next payday, and XNUMX yen on the next payday.

Additionally, because many employees do a lot of desk work due to their occupation and lack exercise, we hold monthly health promotion seminars led by a registered dietitian and conduct office yoga for all employees. The health promotion seminar consists of a 1-minute health seminar and 30 minutes of stretching and aerobic exercise. The seminar content covers a wide range of topics, including depression, how to get a good night's sleep, and the nutritional value of food, which increases knowledge and leads to improved health awareness. Office yoga primarily incorporates yoga routines that are good for stiff shoulders and back pain, as well as highly relaxing yoga routines that regulate the autonomic nervous system.

By the way, the reason we started this initiative was that many of our employees work at desks, and as a result of working on computers for long periods of time, they were not getting enough exercise, and some of them were suffering from poor health due to their poor diet.

In accordance with the CEO's Health Management Declaration, we are actively working to create a workplace where all employees can work comfortably! This initiative was started by the CEO's strong desire to incorporate healthy eating and moderate exercise into daily life, and to have employees eat food made with healthy ingredients and no additives.

We have also launched a condition-based compensation system so that more employees can take advantage of it.
